Building Our First House - We Broke Ground & Building Progress Pics!


HI Beauties.

After 3 long months of waiting, the day we've been anxiously anticipating has finally arrived!! Our home build has officially begun! Woohoo!!!
Our builders broke ground on our new house July 17th, and have gotten busy since then pouring footers, putting up forms and pouring foundation walls. I'm surprised and excited about how quickly things are coming along! I'm seeing a lot of rain in the forecast for next week though, so hopefully the workers will be back on Monday to waterproof the walls and finish up the foundation.

    How Exciting!!!! I Can't wait for my husband to get done with his 20 years and retire so we can actually buy a house and stay put!!

Dollar Store DIY | Makeup & Jewelry Stand

hi beauties. Hope that all of you had a fabulous 4th of July of weekend! We hosted a family cookout, and were able to enjoy a gorgeous firework display from our own backyard which was really neat! DIY Farmhouse Table & Dining Set Makeover with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®

Ooh I'm so excited... It's officially Fall! AND I get to talk about a couple of my recent obsessions, Repurposing furniture & Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan!! If you follow me over on my My Youtube Channel & Facebook , you've probably already noticed that I've been essentially living in our garage, painting furniture like a maniac. I've been bit by the DIY bug, and no piece of wood is safe from my paint brush! ;) If you've ever delved into the world of painting furniture yourself, there's no doubt that you've seen a lot of beautiful pieces painted with the famous Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. So of course I had to try out this amazing paint for myself!
