Spring 2013 Fashion Color Trends


Hi Beauties !

With warmer weather in sight, I wanted to share Pantone's Fashion Color Report for Spring 2013! These 9 shades are forecast to be the Hottest colors in fashion this season-

1. Emerald
2. Dusk Blue
3. Tender Shoots
4. Grayed Jade
5. Lemon Zest
6. Linen
7. Monaco Blue
8. Poppy Red
9. Nectarine

The color forecast for this Spring consists of an eclectic mix of punchy brights, jewel tones and dusty muted shades. At first glance, the color palette reminded me of a dress from the 70's ;) I typically tend to enjoy a few more neon and bright tones in my spring/summer wardrobe, but think that these color choices would pair well with some of my favorites :)

Dollar Store DIY | Makeup & Jewelry Stand

hi beauties. Hope that all of you had a fabulous 4th of July of weekend! We hosted a family cookout, and were able to enjoy a gorgeous firework display from our own backyard which was really neat! DIY Farmhouse Table & Dining Set Makeover with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®

Ooh I'm so excited... It's officially Fall! AND I get to talk about a couple of my recent obsessions, Repurposing furniture & Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan!! If you follow me over on my My Youtube Channel & Facebook , you've probably already noticed that I've been essentially living in our garage, painting furniture like a maniac. I've been bit by the DIY bug, and no piece of wood is safe from my paint brush! ;) If you've ever delved into the world of painting furniture yourself, there's no doubt that you've seen a lot of beautiful pieces painted with the famous Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. So of course I had to try out this amazing paint for myself!
